Against seasons
July 11, 2026
We make eleven things. In ten years we have stopped making two of them, one because the tannery stopped making its hide and one because nobody bought it.
A seasonal range would mean new patterns every six months, new cutting sheets, and a sale every time the old ones had to go. It would also mean a bag bought today could not be matched in three years when you wanted the wallet.
So the range stays put. When something changes, it changes because we found a better way to make it, and the old version is still repaired.
