From the bench
What we are cutting, what went wrong with it, and the occasional argument about hardware.
Before you buy
What leather is it?
Vegetable-tanned hide from one tannery, delivered whole rather than as panels. It darkens with use instead of cracking, and it takes a repair without the mend showing.
How long does delivery take?
Two working days across Jamaica, free over a hundred and twenty dollars. Overseas is quoted at what the post office charges us with nothing added.
What if it is the wrong size?
Send it back within thirty days unused and we refund it in full including the delivery you paid. Sizes are in centimetres on every product page because inches hide a lot.
Do you really repair anything?
Anything we made, for as long as we are here. Thirty dollars to restitch a seam, sixty for a strap, ninety to reline. Two of the pieces we repair are ones we stopped making years ago.
